Proficient with IT risk and privacy compliance management, Jean Zahore has worked in the information technology (IT) field for over 15 years. His areas of expertise include IT security and network infrastructure design. The founder of Healthcare IT Leadership, Jean Zahore joined the IT department at East Orange General Hospital after he earned his graduate degree in management of information systems.

In 2014, Mr. Zahore received a promotion to chief information officer. His responsibilities ranged from managing all IT teams and vendor relationships to directing IT-plan development and enforcing policies that support proactive data-security response. He later provided IT consultancy services to the City of Orange, during which time he performed a network infrastructure upgrade and installed IT systems at the Orange Police Department.

After nearly two years of assisting the city with IT projects, he became an IT consultant at Church & Dwight Co. Mr. Zahore ensured that the firm’s privacy programs followed regulatory and legal privacy obligations in US, as well as the rest of the world. He also drove new business initiatives by spearheading strategic visions for IT-security compliance and data privacy protection.

Jean Zahore belongs to the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Beyond his professional interests, he likes watching soccer games and action-comedy films.
